Alimentaria 2022: Ta-Tung Will Be Cooking Live with Our Chef Kav-Ly!
After a break of four years, Alimentaria is back! It’s one of the most important events in the Spanish food sector and the team at Ta-Tung couldn’t miss it! So, we’ll be there from 4 to 7 April to introduce you to our classic oriental recipes developed by our chef and founder, Kav Ly.
This year, we’ll be accompanied by our colleagues from Gallo and we’ll be offering two showcookings. The first of these, on 4 April, will be led by our Cambodian chef and expert in Asian cuisine, Kav Ly. The second showcooking on 5 April will include chef Pepe Rodriguez (El Bohio, Michelin star restaurant). Together with him, our chef, Kav Ly, will show the audience some of the traditional recipes on our menu (spring rolls, gyozas, noodles and rice) using, as always, natural ingredients and the time-honoured techniques of Asian cuisine, such as steam-cooking and hand-rolling. Spring rolls, rice, noodles, stir-fries, traditional Asian products … For this special event, we want to introduce you to the most acclaimed dishes on our menu, including our Vietnamese nems and gyozas, among many others. Being in contact with the sector’s audience and showcasing the principles that underly the brand including our continual search for the highest quality, maintaining the essence of the food of the best Asian restaurants, taking care with our recipes and using fresh, seasonal ingredients are goals we hope to achieve on this occasion. We can’t help feeling especially excited about this special date!
We’re also looking forward to the opportunity Alimentaria offers us as the ideal bridge to bring the culinary wealth of the different peoples of Asia to all types of consumers.
